Therese M. "Terry" Bedard, 90, died Friday, August 15, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. "Gene" Bedard. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Florida (Fontaine) Berard.

Therese was a co-founder of Lincoln Funeral Home with her husband Eugene and served as the treasurer/bookkeeper for many years. Her prior work experience included bookkeeping for Berard Oil Co. and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI.

She loved knitting, cooking, golfing and being outdoors in the sunshine. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Paulette M. Bedard of Lincoln, Beverly A. Eboli and her husband Ralph of Mystic, CT; granddaughter Beth A. Timmerman and her husband Michael of Groton, CT; grandson Mark G. Eboli and his wife Carrie of Edmond, OK; great granddaughter Ariana N. Timmerman; great grandson Zander M. Timmerman both of Groton, CT; her god-daughter Teresa M. Sowa and her husband Dr. C. Alan Sowa of Lincoln and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roland Berard, Rita Vachon, Hector Berard, Gertrude Berard, Lillian Morancy, Paul Berard and Germaine Bourassa.

In honor of her wishes, funeral arrangements were private. Memorial donations in Terry’s name to her great-grandchildren’s school, Sacred Heart School, 50 Sacred Heart Dr., Groton, CT 06040 would be appreciated.
