Jeannette M. Rivet, 92, of North Smithfield, died Tuesday, October 28th at Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of late Robert R. Rivet. They had been married 49 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late William and Emilie (Dubois) Peloquin.

Mrs. Rivet was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family very much. She was a member of the Trinity Club and The Apres Midi Club.

Mrs. Rivet is survived by her daughter Monette M. Rockwell and her husband Robert of PA; her son Robert C. Rivet and his wife Abigail of WA; granddaughters Emilie J. Rockwell and Anne Baum and 3 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Peloquin, Gerard Peloquin and Norman Peloquin.

A private service was held on Friday followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manville, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeannette’s memory to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, Memphis, TN or St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield, RI would be appreciated.
