Robert A. Walsh, 82, died Tuesday, May 31st, at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol where he resided.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Leo A. and Laura (McKenna) Walsh. 

Mr. Walsh had been employed in the Receiving Dept. of Sears Stores until his retirement.  He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his sisters, Joan Gribbin of Central Falls and Janice Lawson of East Providence and 15 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Bingham and two nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 9:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church (lower church), Pine St., Pawtucket.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visitation will be from 8:15-9:15 am.
