Beatriz de Andrade, 96, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Waterview Villa, East Providence.  She was the wife of the late Acacio de Andrade.

Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Jose and Maria Melo, she came to the United States in 1960.

Mrs. De Andrade is survived by her son Antonio and his wife Leni Andrade of Titusville, FL; grandson Ryan and his wife Mary Andrade of Titusville, FL and great grandchildren Paige, Ana, and Gabrielle Andrade;  grandson Brad and his wife Amanda Andrade, great grandchildren Brooke, Tim, Michael, and Savanah Andrade of Camden, AR.

She is also survived by her daughter Beverly and her husband Gregory Smith of Cumberland; grandson Derek and his wife Barbra Emery of Cumberland, great granddaughter Rowyn Emery; granddaughter Erin Emery and her fiancé Andrew Gibbons of Cumberland; great grandchildren  Kadin Emery and Dakota Martineau, and grandson Benjamin Smith. She was the sister of the late Jose Mello, Antonio Mello, Margarida Amaral and Maria Dos Anjos Andrade.

A Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Way, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
