Doris T. Walinski, 86, of Coventry, died Thursday, September 22, 2016. She was the wife of the late Vincent W. Walinski. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Adela (Brouillette) Tassone.

Mrs. Walinski was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima Nursing School where she received her LPN degree.  She was employed at Miriam Hospital and Kent County Hospital until her retirement.

She is survived by her sons, Steven B. Walinski of Seymour, CT and David J. Walinski of Lincoln; her daughters Jo-Anne Mallicone of E. Greenwich, Ann-Marie Joly of Coventry and Lori Ellen Bourque of Ft. Myers, FL; her brother Oscar Tassone of Pawtucket; her sisters Jeannette Turner of CT, Mary Tassone of Providence and Angie Honra of FL; 7 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William J. Walinski.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:45 am at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 -10:45 am.
