Richard R. Dumont, 87, of Cumberland, died Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was the husband of the late Helen V. (Padykula) Dumont. Born in Somersworth, NH, he was the son of the late Michael and Florestine (Trudel) Dumont.

Mr. Dumont was employed as a salesperson for Jordan Marsh Stores until his retirement. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his family Donna M. Prochet and her husband William of Chepachet, Richard A. Dumont and his wife Karen of Acworth, GA and grandchildren Cynthia, Sean and Ryan Dumont, and Steven and Jeffrey Prochet. He was the brother of the late Georgette Davidov and Rachael Dumont.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Patrick Church, Broad St., Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation will be from 8:30 am-10:15 am.
