Born in Central Falls, RI, of the late Ephrem Robichaud and Yvonne (Rivet) Robichaud, she lived in Central Falls for many years before moving to West Greenwich.

Florence and Jerry grew up in Central Falls where they simply just fell for each other.  Florence shared “he was the ‘one’ and no one could ever take his place.” They were in love... Together, alongside their children, they traveled the country. Wherever they went they made friends and never turned anyone away.  Through many ups and downs they had an incredible life together. Love never fades...
Florence, along with her husband, became quite the entrepreneur.  As a team for many years in Central Falls RI, they ran and owned Jerry’s Café, Chick’s 25 Club, Bitz Laundromat, and maintained many rental properties.

Florence was passionate about the ocean and thoroughly appreciated it's bounty during many summers on Jamestown.  She loved all types of crafts, reading, gardening and animals.  She especially enjoyed being with family and friends. She took care of many people throughout her life. Florence was known and will be remembered for her creativity, wit, hospitality... And especially her spirited and feisty take on life.
