Marian E. Wildenhain Sackal

Marian E. Wildenhain Sackal, age 58, of Central Falls, passed on Thursday, December 1st at Hope Hospice of RI after a long battle with cancer.  She was the wife of Joseph Sackal and they shared 39 years of marriage.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Jeanne Wildenhain.

Marian was a graduate of Nortre Dame High School. She also spent many years as a Nurses Aide before being employed at Filene's and working as Retail Manager for over 10 years.

She is survived by husband Joseph Sackal and 3 daughters: Celena Almeida and husband Keith, Holly Paiva and husband Anthony, and Robin Cox and husband Eric. She loved and adored her five grandsons: Jake, Anthony, Zachary, Brody and Vincenzo. She is also survived by her sister Joanne Griffin and brothers Paul and Phillip Wildenhain.

Marian was always willing to help out and contribute her ideas with her creative, loving and supportive soul.

The calling hours will  be held at Saint Basil’s Church, 15 Skyview Dr. Lincoln, RI  on Tuesday December 6th between 4-8pm. The Funeral Service of Christian Burial will also be held at Saint Basil's Church on Wednesday, Dec 7th at 10am.  Burial will take place at Saint Basil’s Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marian's memory to Camp Ker-Anna, 500 Reservoir Rd., Cumberland, RI 02864.
