Elaine E. (Ledoux) Farrayeh
December 17, 2016

Elaine E. (Ledoux) Farrayeh, 80, of Lincoln, Rhode Island passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016.  She was the wife of the late Gabriel Farrayeh.  Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Exelia (Gervais) Ledoux.

A graduate of Notre Dame High School, Mrs. Farrayeh was employed in the office of Denison Manufacturing Co. until her retirement in 1985.  She previously worked for the former T.L.G. of Pawtucket.  She had been a member of Holy Trinity Church Women’s Guild, St. Jude Church Women’s Guild, and the Manville Manor Tenant Association.

Recently diagnosed with leukemia, Elaine’s health declined rapidly over the course of about seven weeks.  During that time, she needed several blood transfusions and is very grateful to those who gave blood.  It was her wish that those touched by her life donate blood, if they could, to help replenish the supply that was used in her battle against the cancer. She passed peacefully.

She is survived by two daughters and their spouses - Paula and her husband John Morisseau of Dallas, Georgia and Joanne and her husband Michael Mitchell of Central Falls. She was the grandmother and beloved “Meema” to several grandchildren including Ainsley (Morisseau) and her husband J. Mario Cantoral, Britney (Morisseau) Over, Erin Mitchell, and John Morisseau II.  She was also the great-grandmother of four including Michael and Jackson Lockhart and Ofelia and Eva Cantoral.  She is survived by her younger sister Anita (Ledoux) Choiniere and Anita’s husband Raymond, of Lincoln.  She was the sister of the late Victor Ledoux and his wife Peggy.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln.  Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Church would be appreciated.
