Gordon E. Jackson, 94, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of the late Barbara J. Jackson and the son of the late Thomas and Harriet Jackson. 

He is survived by his daughters Ramona Jackson, Kathleen Thibeault, Julie Nadro, and his son Robert Jackson and his wife Tina. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Gordon was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre aboard the USS Hudson.

He was a dedicated member of the Lime Rock Fire Department serving as Deputy Chief and Fire Commissioner for over 50 years.

He was a member of the Blackstone Valley Historical Society, Volunteer Service for Animals Lincoln Chapter and Lime Rock Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Carpenters Union, American Legion, and VFW. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Lime Rock Baptist Church, 1075 Great Road, Lincoln, RI. at 11:00am on Saturday, March 25, 2017.  Burial will follow.
