Olive A. Lemoine

Olive A. Lemoine, 95, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 25, 2017.  She was the wife of the late Lucien A. Lemoine.  Born in Valcourt, PQ Canada, she was a daughter of the late David and Marie Anne (Bissonnette) Gravel.

Mrs. Lemoine had been employed as a cook for the school lunch program for 21 years prior to her retirement in 1982.

She was an active communicant of St. Jude Parish and volunteered her services in many different ways.  She was also a member of the Women of Spirit and the Garden Club at the parish.

Mrs. Lemoine is survived by three godchildren, John Gravel of Pawtucket, Alice Hart of The Villages, FL and Estelle Bennett of Warwick and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jean, Christien, Raymond, Albert, Roland, Lucien and Calixte Gravel, Marguerite Cote and Sister Rose Antoinette OP.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Olive’s memory to St. Jude Parish would be appreciated.
