Rita L. (Bernier) Jarest, 87, of Cumberland, died June 16, 2017 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Raymond D. Jarest.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Yvonne Bernier.

Mrs. Jarest had been a Cumberland resident for many years.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond D. Jarest, Jr. of Cumberland and Michael G. Jarest of Westerly. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
